The content will be focused on Development / Business and IT Pro. The main programme (speaker bio's / session abstracts) will be live at http://iotc.firstport.ie on June 3rd. In the meantime, register for updates to hear about progress, and we'll send you a reminder .

Adrian Bowyer is a senior university lecturer in the beautiful spa town of Bath, South West England.
His research projects include geometric computing, the application of
computers to manufacturing, biomimetics, and bioengineering
applications of chemical ligand binding. Dr Bowyer is one part of the Bowyer-Watson algorithm for Voronoi diagrams. Graduating with a first in mechanical engineering and then a PhD in tribology at Imperial College in the early 1970s, his career has seen him as a mathematician, a
computer scientist, a writer, a chemist, a biologist and now -
inventor!

The committee of the Irish Open Source Technology Conference, including representatives of IrishDev.com (the organisers), the Irish Linux User Group, the Python Ireland User Group, the Dublin Java User Group, the Irish PHP User Group, the Ruby Ireland users group and Open Ireland, the association dedicated to promoting open source to businesses in Ireland, have selected an impressive line-up of international people (United States, Canada, England, Poland, Wales and Ireland) to speak at the event.
