Hi Paul, That's a surprising comment - what do you mean exactly? Best Barry

Paul - Friday the 16th of May at 4:20 p.m.

Personally, I feel that the previous years event had more to offer, perhaps there were more new technologies to showcase in 2007. I just didn't see it as that much of a progression from 2007, especially considering that it was a paid event in 2008.

Hi Paul, Thanks for your comments - I'm not sure how we could have offered more? I mean last year there were 19 sessions ( http://imtc2007@firstport.ie ) in one day, this year 40 sessions,( http://imtc.firstport.ie ) and all delivered by accomplished speakers on new technologies. The feedback we received was extremely positive from the delegates, many of those who attended last year too. I know you are commenting personally, however, I am eager to learn for IMTC2009 and keen to hear how you would have liked it to have progressed from 2007? I sent you an email today if you'd prefer. Thanks again for bringing this up. Best Barry

Thanks for the correspondance regarding this Barry. Your level of interest in my comments and your prompt responses are a great indicator of how much personal input you put into these events, which is great to see. While 1 or 2 of the sessions may not have been a "best fit" for me (which is probably as much my fault for not picking the sessions most relevant to me), there was a lot of learning to be had, and I must agree on the professionalism of the speakers. With this in mind, along with your desire to get to the root of issues, however small, in the hope on continually improving, I have no doubts that IMTC 2009 will be everything that I could ever wish for, and more! Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
