0 CommentsThe Irish Open Source Technology Conference, part of the IrishDev.com's Irish x Technology Conference Series 2008 is calling the Irish open source community to action.
In around three weeks (June 1st) the conference website will go live by which time the full agenda will be set for the event on June 18th - 20th.
The conference agenda is a multi track, multi session affair and we still have opportunities for you, the Irish Open Source Community to participate.
If you have a particular expertise in either the development or IT pro / admin arenas, and have prior experience of presenting to large groups, then we'd be happy to consider you for one of the few remaining slots.
In return, you'll receive considerable exposure on our websites, inclusion on the IOTC DVD given to every delegate, free enrty to the IOTC, and the opportunity to network with other speakers, delegates and the business community - G only knows where that could lead you. Sure, we'll even cover some travel expenses*
All you need to do at this stage is to email Barry @ IrishDev.com with a brief abstract of the proposed presentation plus a bio of you - ie, explain your experience and expertise. We'll then get in contact with you.
The Irish Open Source Technology Conference is a community event by the community for the you the community. If you have a particular interest in seeing something specific, again, get in touch, expalin what it is and who you think might be a good presenter, and we'll try our level best to make your wish come true! barry @ IrishDev.com. We'll even enter your name in a ticket draw for your troubles!
