Brian Nitz
Brian Nitz graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Physics and began a career in software engineering.
He enjoyed working on such diverse products as data acquisition systems, 1-bit microcontrollers and G.E. CT and MRI scanners. Brian has worked for Sun Microsystems in Ireland since 2001, providing QA and user support for users of Sun's GNOME desktops. Brian was part of a small team which deployed and upgraded several thousand remotely managed Java Desktop
(GNOME/Linux) desktops to AIB branches. Brian is currently investigating the scalability of GNOME desktops on ultrathin clients.
Brian enjoys sailing, photography, astronomy and spending time with his family.
