SugarCRM
Led by John Roberts, CEO and Founder (and avid U2 fan), SugarCRM are a thoroughbred Open Source CRM company.
Having recently opened their new Irish office on Sir John Rogerson's Quay in Dublin, SugarCRM have added their support to the Irish open source community by sponsoring the Irish Open Source Technology Conference.
John regularly presents at conferences worldwide, and has built up a substantial community for his open source business model.
John recently participated at our first conference of 2008, the Irish Web Technology Conference in February. Entitled 'The Global Language of Sharing' John's presentation was very well received - see abstract.
At the Irish Open Source Technology Conference, SugarCRM will be represented by Clint Oram, Co Founder and VP of Open Source Relations, who leads He will discuss how cloud computing, web platforms, mashups and open source development models (all results of the Web 2.0 world that we live in) are becoming mainstream and how open source is being used to access infrastructure through these models and allow users to build SaaS.
Meeting at the Irish Web Technology Conference earlier this year, where SugarCRM's Clint's partner and co-founder John Roberts was presenting and Hosting365 were a sponsor, a deal including SugarCRM's Ireland partner Provident Technology was instigated - here, Clint Oram (SugarCRM), Kevin O'Connor (Hosting365) and Gary Cullen (Provident Technology) alongside Barry Alistair (IrishDev.com the organisers of IxTC)
